Analista de Compras – Gestión de Proveedores y Costos

About the role

The Purchasing Analyst will be responsible for the end‑to‑end procurement process at RIGSA, ensuring that materials and supplies are available on time and at the right cost. You will work closely with internal departments and external suppliers to support the company’s operational needs.

Key responsibilities

• Analyze internal demand and generate purchase requisitions.
• Request, compare and evaluate supplier quotations.
• Prepare and issue purchase orders following established procedures.
• Track deliveries, verify receipt, and coordinate with accounting to validate invoices.
• Support cost‑optimization initiatives while maintaining required quality standards.
• Produce procurement reports and key performance indicators.
• Participate in continuous‑improvement projects for the purchasing process.

Required profile

• Experience in procurement processes and the ability to follow and improve established procedures.
• Strong negotiation skills with strategic suppliers.
• Solid analytical abilities to interpret data and support decision‑making.
• Basic inventory control knowledge to ensure adequate stock levels and cost efficiency.
• Education in Administration, Finance, Logistics or related fields.
• Team‑oriented, organized, detail‑focused and results‑driven.

Required skills

• Proficient use of Microsoft Excel.
• Familiarity with procurement management tools or ERP systems.
