Afterschool Coach

About the role

The Afterschool Coach will plan, lead and develop extracurricular activities that support students' overall development, strengthening skills, talents, discipline, creativity, physical fitness, critical thinking and teamwork. The role also involves preparing and accompanying students in performances, competitions and tournaments while promoting the school's values.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and lead training sessions, classes, rehearsals and practical sessions for the assigned discipline.
• Design age‑appropriate activities and teaching strategies to develop technical, physical and cognitive skills.
• Supervise students during activities, competitions and performances and ensure professional conduct.
• Monitor progress, provide feedback and adapt sessions to individual needs.
• Maintain attendance records, manage equipment and comply with safety protocols.

Required profile

• Academic background, certification or demonstrated experience in the discipline to be taught.
• Previous experience working with children or adolescents in a coaching or instructional role.
• Ability to manage groups of varying ages and skill levels.
• Availability to attend competitions and events outside regular school hours.

Required skills

• Soccer coaching (technical and tactical instruction).
• Proficiency in English (asset in an international school environment).
