Account Specialist – Logistics

About the role

We’re looking for a proactive, organized, and customer‑focused Account Specialist to join our Panama team. If you enjoy building relationships, coordinating across teams, solving problems, and keeping multiple priorities moving, this could be a great opportunity for you.

Key responsibilities

• Build and maintain strong relationships with customers and key contacts.
• Manage new orders, quoting requests, and proactive customer follow‑ups.
• Monitor tender volumes, identify variances, and track awarded business.
• Track customer expectations, scorecards, and feedback to improve account performance.
• Partner with Carrier Sales to ensure freight coverage and rate adjustments.
• Coordinate with Track & Trace to resolve load escalations and service issues.
• Maintain visibility into overall freight operations and priority shipments.
• Help resolve billing and credit issues before month‑end.

Required profile

• Advanced English – spoken and written.
• 1+ years of experience in logistics or transportation, focusing on operations, sales, or account support.
• Strong customer relationship and communication skills.
• Excellent organization, multitasking, and attention to detail.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast‑paced, deadline‑driven environment.
• Professional, dependable, and solutions‑oriented mindset.
• High school diploma required; associate degree preferred.

Required skills

• Experience with TMS platforms.
• Experience with CRM platforms.
• Proficiency with Google Workspace.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
