Account Director – Telecommunications Operators

About the role

We are seeking a dynamic Sales Account Director to lead relationships with major telecommunications operators across Panama and LATAM. The role focuses on building lasting client partnerships, designing winning commercial proposals, and driving success in competitive bidding processes.

Key responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of assigned telecommunications operator accounts.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with key industry clients.
• Oversee timely delivery of products and services, ensuring high customer satisfaction.
• Gather market intelligence on network technologies and create actionable plans.
• Design compelling commercial proposals and actively participate in bidding processes.
• Prepare tender proposals and respond to RFPs in collaboration with technical and project teams.
• Conduct client visits to capture evolving requirements and adjust documentation.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 7 years of sales management experience, preferably within telecommunications operators.
• Proven track record in client negotiations, bidding processes and winning new contracts.
• Strong networking and relationship‑building abilities with a results‑driven mindset.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal and time‑management skills.
• Fluency in written and spoken English.
