Spanish to English Interpreter (Remote)

About the role

LanguageBees is seeking a full‑time remote Spanish‑to‑English interpreter to deliver real‑time, accurate and culturally sensitive interpretation during virtual calls. The role supports medical, legal and business conversations, ensuring clear communication between Spanish‑speaking and English‑speaking participants.

Key responsibilities

• Provide consecutive and/or simultaneous interpretation for virtual calls in medical, legal and business contexts.
• Listen attentively, convey messages faithfully, and maintain confidentiality and professionalism at all times.
• Prepare for assignments by reviewing relevant terminology and domain‑specific vocabulary.
• Document session details as required and collaborate with supervisors and team members to uphold service quality.
• Participate in ongoing training, feedback sessions and skill‑development activities to meet LanguageBees’ standards.

Required profile

• Advanced proficiency in both Spanish and English (listening, speaking, reading, comprehension).
• Demonstrated interpreting ability, including consecutive and/or simultaneous techniques.
• Knowledge of specialized terminology in at least one domain: medical, legal or business.
• High cultural competence and sensitivity, with the ability to adapt language and tone.
• Reliable remote work setup: stable internet, quiet workspace and familiarity with call‑center or video‑conferencing platforms.
• Relevant education or certifications in linguistics, translation or interpretation; prior interpreting or customer‑support experience preferred.
• Commitment to continuous learning and openness to feedback.
