Senior JavaScript Developer (React, TypeScript, NextJS)

About the role

We are looking for a Senior JavaScript Developer to join our international e‑commerce platform team. You will work on the full software development life‑cycle, from concept to deployment, collaborating with product, design, quality and backend teams to deliver high‑impact web applications.

Key responsibilities

• Implement scalable, modular, high‑performance frontend solutions using React, NextJS, AstroJS and TypeScript.
• Build features that handle real‑time data updates, fast user interactions and complex state management.
• Collaborate closely with cross‑functional teams to deliver features quickly and with quality.
• Write clean, maintainable code following team standards and contribute to the shared component library and design system.
• Support code reviews, provide constructive feedback, and participate in on‑call incident response.
• Apply AI‑assisted engineering practices such as prompt‑driven component generation, test creation, and intelligent debugging.

Required profile

• Proactive, strong team player with a can‑do attitude and ability to work with minimal supervision.
• Passionate about continuous learning and staying up‑to‑date with modern frontend technologies.
• Fluent communication in both Spanish and English.

Required skills

• 5+ years of modern frontend development experience.
• Deep expertise in JavaScript, React, TypeScript, and CSS.
• Strong knowledge of React patterns, hooks, component lifecycle and rendering behavior.
• Experience with state‑management tools such as Redux Toolkit or Zustand.
• Familiarity with NextJS, AstroJS and modern build tooling.
• Understanding of web performance optimization.
