Senior Financial Analyst – Planning & Analytics

About the role

The Senior Financial Analyst – Planning & Analytics will develop forward‑looking forecasts, budgets and financial statement models, and turn complex data into clear, actionable insights for business leaders across the enterprise.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and distribute monthly financial reports to business units.
• Drive data‑based decision‑making by building Power BI dashboards, Excel trackers and strategic reporting tools.
• Lead automation projects to streamline aging reports, cash‑forecasting and vendor onboarding workflows.
• Manage data modeling and validation from Snowflake, SAP B1 and SAP HANA APIs.
• Conduct proactive monthly cost reviews and flag forecast adjustments.
• Analyze revenue versus forecast, highlighting under‑ or over‑performance.
• Develop operating‑metric reports to monitor product profitability.
• Optimize data intake, validation, mining, modeling, visualization and communication deliverables.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting or a related field.
• 2+ years of experience in financial planning, analysis and modeling.
• Proven ability to present financial information to non‑financial stakeholders.
• Strong organizational, multitasking and deadline‑management skills.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal and presentation abilities.

Required skills

• Advanced Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, lookups, financial modeling).
• Power BI and/or Tableau.
• ERP experience – SAP B1, SAP HANA, Oracle, NetSuite.
• Data‑warehouse experience – Snowflake.
• SAS (or similar) for statistical analysis and predictive modeling.
• Programming knowledge – Python, Java or R (preferred).
• Data mining, regression analysis and statistical modeling.
