Part-time Forward Deployed Engineer Instructor

About the role

TripleTen, an EdTech company that runs tech‑career programs for the US and Latin America, is seeking a part‑time Forward Deployed Engineering (FDE) Instructor. You will be the senior technical presence guiding experienced production engineers through real‑world AI deployment projects.

Key responsibilities

• Host live, cohort‑based events covering discovery, scoping, architecture, integration, rollout, and adoption of AI systems in client environments.
• Conduct 1:1 coaching sessions and technical mock interviews for students working on deployment projects.
• Review student deliverables against detailed rubrics, focusing on client‑facing aspects such as scoping decisions, demos, and stakeholder communication.
• Set and maintain the technical standard for a team of supporting instructors, acting as the escalation point for first‑line queries.

Required profile

• 7+ years of professional engineering experience, currently at a senior level (Senior, Lead, Staff Engineer, Forward Deployed Engineer, Solutions Architect, or technical lead on customer‑facing delivery).
• Hands‑on ownership of end‑to‑end AI deployments in real client or enterprise environments, from initial discovery through production go‑live and adoption.
• Strong ability to critique and improve deployment approaches for experienced engineers.
