Laravel & React Developer (Remote – Latin America)

About the role

Bluelight Consulting is seeking a seasoned Laravel and React developer to join its remote team serving clients across the United States and Latin America. You will work on high‑impact projects, building modern web applications that combine robust back‑end APIs with responsive front‑end interfaces.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain Laravel 8+ applications and RESTful APIs.
• Implement front‑end features using React (or Vue.js/Livewire) and integrate them via Inertia.js.
• Write automated tests with Pest, PHPUnit, Laravel Dusk, or Playwright to ensure code quality.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to deliver solutions that meet client goals.
• Participate in code reviews, estimate tasks, and take ownership of deliverables.

Required profile

• 4+ years of professional experience with Laravel (version 8 or newer).
• Strong knowledge of Eloquent ORM, Laravel authentication, and query builder.
• Hands‑on experience with testing tools such as Pest PHP, PHPUnit, Laravel Dusk, or Playwright.
• Proficiency in front‑end development using React (or Vue.js/Livewire) and familiarity with Inertia.js.
• Detail‑oriented, proactive mindset and ability to align with client objectives.
