International Operations Specialist – Facility & Office Services

About the role

The International Operations Specialist will oversee the day‑to‑day operation of facilities and office services in Panama, ensuring compliance, safety, and cost‑effective vendor management while supporting regional events and promotional initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Lead office operations, managing Opex/Capex budgets, vendor standards, and safety readiness.
• Prepare, analyse and present operational reports, dashboards and job aids.
• Review vendor contracts, identify cost‑saving opportunities and renegotiate agreements.
• Maintain facility readiness, safety documentation and equipment inventories.
• Oversee service‑vendor relationships, enforce SLAs and replace under‑performing providers.
• Control procurement and payment cycles to ensure timely vendor transactions.
• Execute onboarding/off‑boarding checklists in partnership with HR and IT.
• Act as the compliance liaison between local operations and corporate governance, managing audits and risk controls.
• Plan and coordinate regional events, town halls, team awards and committee activities.

Required profile

• Proven experience in facilities or office operations management.
• Strong background in budget management and vendor performance oversight.
• Demonstrated ability to ensure regulatory compliance and safety standards.
• Experience coordinating corporate events and cross‑functional initiatives.
• Excellent organizational skills with a focus on process optimisation.
