FECI Auditor

About the role

The FECI Auditor will conduct inspections of financial entities to ensure compliance with the laws governing the FECI regime. The role involves both scheduled and unscheduled audits, analysis of loan contracts, and preparation of detailed inspection reports.

Key responsibilities

• Perform inspections of financial institutions to verify adherence to FECI regulations.
• Carry out special and follow‑up inspections, both planned and unplanned.
• Review loan contracts to ensure they do not violate legal provisions and that institutions honor contractual commitments.
• Participate in closing meetings with institutions and present inspection findings.
• Coordinate responses to institutions together with the FECI manager and coordinator.
• Prepare and deliver technical inspection reports with recommendations.
• Monitor compliance with previous inspection recommendations.
• Assist in the preparation of statistical tables, charts and graphs to evaluate fund trends when requested.
• Conduct field visits to assess proper use of funds allocated to the agricultural sector under FECI regulations.
• Support the special inspections manager and coordinator with additional assignments as needed.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Economics, Banking or Finance.
• 1–2 years of experience in a similar auditing or inspection role.
• Minimum of 18 months in the current position.
• Knowledge of Law 4 of 1994.
• Ability to draft and control reports, strong verbal communication.
• Organizational and time‑management capabilities.
• No active disciplinary sanctions.

Required skills

• Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Competence with standard office productivity tools.
