External Audit Manager

About the role

The External Audit Manager will lead the audit engagements for a portfolio of clients, ensuring high‑quality delivery and compliance with international standards. This position requires close collaboration with both the client’s management and the firm’s partners to guarantee transparent and effective communication throughout each audit cycle.

Key responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of external audit engagements from planning to final reporting.
• Coordinate audit teams, assign tasks, and monitor progress to meet deadlines.
• Maintain direct communication with clients and senior partners to address issues and provide updates.
• Review financial statements and ensure they comply with IFRS (NIIF) requirements.
• Identify audit risks and develop appropriate audit procedures.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related field.
• Proven experience in external audit, preferably with a strong focus on IFRS.
• Intermediate to advanced proficiency in English.
• Demonstrated leadership and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills.

Required skills

• In‑depth knowledge of IFRS (NIIF) standards.
• External audit methodology and financial‑statement review.
• Advanced use of Microsoft Excel.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word.
