About the role

EDUPOR SRL is looking for a Baseball Coach who will also act as a Recruitment Agent across Panama. The dual role combines on‑field technical and physical development of athletes with on‑the‑ground scouting of young talent (ages 14‑25) interested in university scholarships in the United States and Canada.

Key responsibilities

• Attend daily stadiums, local tournaments, youth leagues and academies throughout Panama to identify promising prospects.
• Present EDUPOR’s scholarship opportunities to athletes and their families, guiding them through the recruitment process.
• Evaluate each prospect’s strengths and improvement areas for the North‑American university market.
• Design and lead baseball training sessions tailored to varying skill levels, creating progressive technical and physical development plans.
• Monitor athletes’ performance, provide constructive feedback, and track progress over time.
• Coordinate remote training, monitoring and evaluations using video calls and digital management platforms.
• Collaborate with EDUPOR’s technical and management teams to enhance athletic performance and academic success.

Required profile

• Proven experience in baseball coaching, talent scouting and on‑field evaluation.
• Willingness and ability to travel daily across different regions of Panama.
• Strong communication and persuasion skills for interacting with young athletes, families and local coaches.
• Effective verbal and written communication for both in‑person and remote work.
• Competence with digital tools such as videoconferencing, performance‑tracking platforms and content‑management systems.
• Relevant education in Physical Education, Sports Science or related fields (formal degree or recognized certifications are a plus).
