Contable Encargada (CPA)

About the role

We are looking for a qualified Accounting Manager (CPA) to join one of our client’s finance teams. The role involves managing day‑to‑day accounting operations, ensuring accurate tax filings and payroll processing, and supporting the overall financial health of the organization.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and submit ITBMS tax declarations and other statutory filings.
• Manage payroll processing, including Planilla 03 and SIPE submissions.
• Oversee accounts receivable (CXC) and ensure timely collections.
• Generate invoices and maintain accurate financial records.
• Utilize Peachtree or Sage 50 for bookkeeping and reporting.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of professional accounting experience.
• Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation.
• Strong knowledge of Panamanian tax and payroll regulations.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Peachtree or Sage 50 accounting software.
• Experience handling ITBMS, Planilla 03, and SIPE.
• Ability to manage accounts receivable (CXC).
• Familiarity with Etax filing system.
• Intermediate to advanced Excel skills.

What we offer

• Permanent contract with a competitive monthly salary of $1,200 – $1,500.
• Standard working hours: Monday‑Friday 8:00 am – 5:00 pm, Saturday 8:00 am – 12:00 pm.
