Commercial Project Coordinator

About the role

American Foods is seeking a Commercial Project Coordinator to lead cross‑functional initiatives within its AMI Private Label business. The role is responsible for end‑to‑end project execution, ensuring that initiatives are delivered on schedule, within scope, and with clear accountability across brand, supply, finance, regulatory, and activation teams.

Key responsibilities

• Build detailed project timelines, define milestones, assign owners and track deliverables.
• Facilitate weekly cross‑functional meetings, follow up on action items, and proactively escalate risks.
• Maintain project dashboards, status reports, decision logs and dependency trackers.
• Identify execution risks, develop mitigation plans and communicate roadblocks to leadership.
• Standardize project management practices, create templates and improve governance to increase visibility.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Industrial Engineering or a related field.
• 2‑4+ years of experience in project coordination, commercial operations or cross‑functional support, preferably in FMCG/CPG or food distribution.
• Strong organizational abilities and a proven track record of managing multiple projects and stakeholders simultaneously.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to drive accountability without formal authority.
• Comfortable working in a fast‑paced, high‑growth, start‑up‑like environment.
• PMP certification or equivalent project management training is a plus.
