Client Advisor – Inbound Sales

About the role

As a Client Advisor at Toptal you will be the first point of contact for inbound prospects from small and medium‑sized businesses. You will quickly assess their needs, connect them with the right specialists, and guide them through a consultative sales process to convert interest into a client.

Key responsibilities

• Respond to inbound assistance requests within five minutes.
• Establish rapport, diagnose the business problem, and uncover the underlying objective.
• Explain Toptal’s value proposition across talent, hiring, payroll, and AI‑driven services.
• Address client concerns, build sales momentum, and move prospects toward a decision.
• Manage active opportunities while handling new incoming inquiries.
• Coordinate with internal specialists for deeper technical expertise when needed.
• Maintain client engagement throughout the sales cycle and resolve any obstacles that delay decisions.

Required profile

• Ambitious, competitive, and driven by client service.
• Genuine curiosity about how businesses operate.
• Strong desire to develop consultative selling skills in a fast‑paced environment.
• Excellent English communication; all interactions and submissions must be in English.
• Ability to work remotely without visa sponsorship.
