Associate Project Manager – IT (SOC 2 & Cybersecurity)

About the role

The Associate Project Manager – IT will support planning, coordination, and execution of IT and cybersecurity projects in a SOC 2 regulated environment, ensuring compliance with security, availability, confidentiality, processing integrity, and privacy criteria.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in managing IT and cybersecurity projects within SOC 2 regulated environments.
• Monitor project scope, timelines, risks, dependencies and keep documentation audit‑ready.
• Prepare and submit RFCs, coordinate Change Advisory Board approvals and ensure changes occur within approved windows.
• Support cybersecurity initiatives, verify secure configuration and deployment of IT solutions.
• Facilitate meetings, communicate status, risks and compliance impacts to stakeholders.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in IT, Cybersecurity, Information Systems or a related field.
• Basic understanding of IT systems, applications and infrastructure.
• Familiarity with ITIL Change Management and SOC 2 concepts.
• Strong documentation, organizational and communication skills.

Required skills

• ITIL Change Management processes.
• SOC 2 compliance knowledge.
• Experience with Jira or similar ticketing/change tools.
