Trainee AFR

About the role

The Trainee AFR will support the Air Freight team at DHL Global Forwarding’s cargo airport office in Tocumen, Panama. The role focuses on monitoring operational performance, handling client complaints, and providing administrative assistance to account executives to ensure service standards and continuous improvement.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor and update KPI control matrices and reports.
• Track performance indicators for each account and process, flagging deviations.
• Prepare data and presentations for performance review meetings.
• Consolidate data from multiple sources and support action‑plan follow‑up.
• Maintain the complaints matrix, recording all case details and resolution timelines.
• Follow up open complaints, identify trends and propose preventive actions.
• Provide operational support for ROA and Trigger processes, including data validation and record updates.
• Track pending tasks and commitment dates, generate alerts and ensure timely follow‑up.
