Technical QA Associate

About the role

The Technical QA Associate at UJV ensures that every software release is stable and ready for luxury‑travel advisors worldwide. Acting as the gatekeeper of deployment quality, you will validate new features, manage test‑environment readiness, and help senior engineers focus on architecture.

Key responsibilities

• Release validation – execute test plans to confirm new functionality meets TPM requirements.
• Functional testing and edge‑case discovery – perform exploratory testing to uncover hidden bugs.
• Defect lifecycle management – log issues in Jira with clear technical details and verify fixes.
• Environment configuration – set up user data and system states in admin portals for testing.
• Data efficiency – collaborate on automated data‑seeder scripts to replace manual setups.
• System health checks – run daily checks to keep test environments consistent.
• Product advocacy – provide rapid feedback to TPMs for Go/No‑Go decisions and maintain test documentation.
• Automation preparation – identify manual scenarios suitable for future automation.

Required profile

• 0–2 years of experience in a technical or analytical role (testing, support, or product‑adjacent).
• Power‑user comfort with complex software systems and admin tools.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage test data across environments.
