About the role
I-Call International is looking for qualified Spanish‑English medical interpreters to facilitate accurate communication between Spanish‑speaking patients and healthcare providers.
Key responsibilities
- Provide accurate consecutive interpretation of medical terminology, diagnoses, treatments and other healthcare information.
- Maintain patient confidentiality, adhere to professional interpreting standards and demonstrate cultural sensitivity.
Required profile
- Fluency in both Spanish and English.
- Minimum 1 year of interpreting or translation experience, with knowledge of medical terminology.
Required skills
- Internet connection of at least 15 Mbps download and upload.
- PC: Core i7 (6th Gen or higher) with minimum 8 GB RAM.
- USB wired, noise‑cancelling headset (e.g., Logitech H390) and 1080p HD webcam.
- Stable LAN/Ethernet connection with RTT latency ≤100 ms, jitter <10 ms and 0 % packet loss.
What we offer
- Hourly shift program with a pay rate of $6 USD per hour.
- Remote work arrangement.
