Software Developer – Web, Backend & Cloud

About the role

Langan is looking for a Software Developer to join its collaborative Information Technology team. You will design, build, and maintain modern software solutions that support business initiatives across the firm’s diverse engineering and consulting services.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain scalable applications using Python, FastAPI, React, Next.js and cloud platforms.
• Identify emerging technologies—including AI/ML and cloud services—and create proofs‑of‑concept.
• Build and maintain RESTful APIs and integrate with internal systems and third‑party platforms.
• Translate business requirements into technical solutions while supporting multiple projects simultaneously.
• Improve system performance, reliability, and application optimization.
• Participate in code reviews, testing, and continuous improvement of development practices.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• Experience in software development (internship or professional).
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving and communication skills.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
