Senior Sales Engineer (Channels)

About the role

The Senior Sales Engineer (Channels) will be responsible for driving Eaton's sales objectives in Panama. This includes managing channel performance, selecting key accounts and end‑users, and coordinating with strategic account and utility teams to grow Eaton’s presence in the market.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute the sales plan for Panama to achieve revenue targets.
• Visit customers in person to strengthen relationships, identify new opportunities and monitor competitor activity.
• Provide weekly, monthly and quarterly booking forecasts to regional management.
• Maintain the sales pipeline in Eaton’s CRM and ensure projects meet the defined profit margin.
• Manage the sales expense budget and deliver accurate expense reports.
• Prepare and present bids and quotations, applying sound business judgment to protect margins.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Electromechanical or Electronic Engineering (or equivalent experience).
• Advanced English communication skills (oral and written).
• Minimum 5 years of sales experience in the electrical market in Panama, with a proven track record.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Teams.
• Experience delivering proposal presentations to customers, channel partners and senior management.
• General knowledge of Eaton electrical solutions or similar manufacturers and a valid driver’s license.
