Senior Project Manager, Ports & Coastal Engineering

About the role

Moffatt & Nichol is seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to lead the planning, design, and delivery of complex ports, coastal, marine, and terminal infrastructure projects for public and private clients. The role will oversee multidisciplinary teams and act as a trusted advisor throughout the project lifecycle.

Key responsibilities

• Lead delivery of port, marine, coastal, and terminal infrastructure projects.
• Manage scope, schedule, budget, quality, and commercial performance across multiple assignments.
• Provide technical leadership for port master planning, marine structures, terminal developments, dredging, and waterfront projects.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary teams across civil, structural, geotechnical, coastal, environmental, mechanical, and electrical disciplines.
• Build and maintain relationships with port authorities, terminal operators, developers, and other industry stakeholders.
• Lead proposals, fee development, contract negotiations, and business development initiatives.
• Mentor engineers, planners, and project managers while helping grow the practice.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Civil, Coastal, Ocean, or related engineering discipline.
• 15+ years of experience delivering port, marine, coastal, or waterfront infrastructure projects (10+ years with an advanced degree).
• Strong project management experience with complex, multidisciplinary engineering programs.
