Remote Patient Coordinator (US EST)

About the role

The Patient Intake & Care Coordinator serves as the welcoming first point of contact for prospective patients. Working remotely with overlap to US Eastern Time business hours, you will guide individuals from initial inquiry through to a scheduled consultation, delivering a supportive, patient‑centered experience via SMS and phone.

Key responsibilities

• Respond promptly to inbound SMS and phone inquiries from prospective patients.
• Conduct warm, empathetic intake conversations to understand patient needs and goals.
• Schedule consultations using Calendly and internal systems.
• Accurately capture patient details and notes in CRM and EMR platforms.
• Perform timely follow‑ups to nurture engagement and support scheduling.
• Maintain organized documentation while ensuring confidentiality and data accuracy.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years experience in patient intake, care coordination, medical front‑desk, or healthcare customer support.
• Excellent written and spoken English communication skills.
• Empathetic, patient‑focused attitude with strong interpersonal abilities.
• Comfortable working in a structured on‑call environment with consistent responsiveness.
• Prior remote work experience and fluency with collaboration tools such as Slack, Zoom, Google Workspace, Asana, etc.
