Regional Category Manager – Aftermarket, Americas

About the role

APM Terminals is seeking a Regional Category Manager – Aftermarket for the Americas to shape strategic sourcing and category management across its terminal network. You will work closely with Asset Maintenance teams, local procurement units and key suppliers to drive cost optimisation, supplier performance and innovative solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute category strategies that support operational excellence and asset reliability.
• Identify cost‑saving opportunities and improve supplier performance across the Americas region.
• Lead complex negotiations and manage strategic supplier partnerships.
• Collaborate with senior stakeholders to align sourcing initiatives with business growth objectives.
• Promote continuous improvement and Lean methodologies within procurement processes.
