Regional Category Manager – Aftermarket (Americas)

About the role

The Regional Category Manager – Aftermarket (Americas) will shape the future of strategic sourcing and category management for APM Terminals, a leading global port operator. You will drive category strategy, build supplier partnerships, and create value across the Americas region.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute aftermarket category strategies that support operational excellence, asset reliability and long‑term growth.
• Collaborate with Asset Maintenance teams, local Procurement organisations and strategic suppliers to identify cost‑optimisation opportunities.
• Improve supplier performance and deliver innovative solutions for terminals throughout the region.
• Influence senior stakeholders, lead complex negotiations and deliver measurable business impact.

Required profile

• Highly motivated, results‑oriented procurement professional.
• Experience influencing senior stakeholders and leading negotiations in an international environment.
• Strong understanding of category management and aftermarket procurement within logistics or terminal operations.
