Receptionist – Luxury Hotel Front Desk

About the role

The Receptionist will be the first point of contact for guests arriving and departing at Sofitel Legend Casco Viejo Panama. You will deliver intuitive, memorable experiences while upholding the hotel’s high service standards and promoting its luxury amenities.

Key responsibilities

• Greet guests, manage check‑in and check‑out procedures efficiently.
• Handle reservations, cancellations and inquiries using the OPERA system.
• Promote and upsell hotel services such as the spa, restaurants and exclusive activities.
• Process payments and manage point‑of‑sale transactions.
• Maintain accurate guest records and ensure compliance with quality and audit programs.
• Respond to online reviews and manage guest feedback.

Required profile

• Previous experience in customer service or front‑desk roles, preferably in a luxury hotel.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to engage a diverse clientele.
• Fluent in English; additional languages are a plus.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering high‑quality service.

Required skills

• Proficiency with OPERA, POS and HotSOS systems.
• Competence in MS Office applications.
• Experience with online review management platforms.
