QA Automation Engineer

About the role

We are looking for an experienced QA Automation Engineer to join our testing centre in Panama City. You will design, build and maintain automated tests for real‑time communication products, focusing on video and phone calls across web and mobile platforms.

Key responsibilities

• Create, run and maintain automated functional, regression, integration and exploratory tests for web and mobile applications.
• Automate video‑call testing, covering setup, quality, connectivity and reconnection scenarios.
• Automate phone‑call testing and verify integration with real‑time communication features.
• Develop and maintain automated API test suites.
• Analyze test results, troubleshoot issues and document defects.
• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines and ensure reliable test runs.
• Create load and performance tests and report findings.
• Collaborate daily with the client’s engineering, product and QA teams, communicating progress, risks and blockers.

Required profile

• Minimum three years of professional experience in QA automation.
• Proactive, independent and well‑organized, able to take full ownership of work.
• Fluent English for daily communication with international teams.

Required skills

• Strong coding/scripting ability in a modern programming language.
• Experience designing, developing and maintaining automated test suites.
• Hands‑on testing of both web and mobile applications.
• API testing, including request/response validation.
• Knowledge of load and performance testing concepts.
• Integration of automated tests into CI/CD pipelines.
