About the role
Keridine & Requena, a Panamanian law firm specializing in commercial, real estate and corporate matters, is seeking a Legal Intern to join its team in Panama City. The intern will gain direct exposure to real cases, working alongside experienced attorneys from day one.
Key responsibilities
- Draft basic legal writings and other legal documents together with the firm’s lawyers.
- Conduct legal research and inquiries across various entities.
- Assist in preparing client documents and case files.
- Process and follow up on procedures before public institutions, with team support.
- Maintain up‑to‑date case reports.
- Notify attorneys promptly of any relevant incidents.
Required profile
- Currently enrolled in the third or fourth year of a Law and Political Science degree.
- Proactive attitude with effective communication skills.
- Learning‑oriented and able to follow instructions.
- Preferred: basic knowledge of public‑institution procedures and/or basic‑intermediate understanding of corporate law, intellectual property, or migration.
