About the role

The Medical Scientific Liaison (MSL) is a field‑based medical professional who provides balanced, evidence‑based scientific information to scientific leaders and key decision makers. By staying current on clinical studies, product data, competitor therapies, and pipeline developments, the MSL supports informed decision‑making and ultimately improves patient outcomes.

Key responsibilities

• Engage in non‑promotional, peer‑to‑peer scientific exchange with scientific leaders and key decision makers, respecting all legal and regulatory guidelines.
• Gather deep insights on disease areas, therapeutic gaps, and healthcare needs within the assigned geography.
• Represent Medical Affairs at non‑promotional medical events, congresses, and symposia, and contribute to scientific materials before and after events.
• Respond to unsolicited requests for medical, scientific, or pipeline information using approved resources.
• Guide stakeholders to company‑sponsored research, grant opportunities, clinical trials, and outcomes research programs.
• Participate in Scientific Advisory Board meetings or expert forums when designated.
• Provide medical/scientific support for health technology assessments and formulary decisions in line with scientific exchange principles.

Required profile

• Doctor of Medicine (MD), Master of Pharmacy, or an advanced degree (Master’s or PhD) in Life Sciences, Medical Sciences, or a related discipline, meeting local regulatory requirements.
