Master Data Associate – Panama City

About the role

We are seeking a motivated Master Data Associate to support the day‑to‑day maintenance of master data across our Panama City operations. The role focuses on ensuring data accuracy, compliance with standards and contributing to continuous improvement of data quality initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Execute master data creation, update, extension and blocking activities in line with established procedures and SLAs.
• Review and validate incoming requests for completeness, accuracy and adherence to master data standards.
• Perform routine data quality checks, identify inconsistencies and support data cleansing efforts.
• Carry out standard mass updates and recurring maintenance tasks following approved guidelines.
• Escalate complex issues or policy exceptions to the Master Data Expert.
• Collaborate with requestors, approvers and business users to clarify requirements and ensure correct execution.
• Prepare operational reports and conduct basic data analysis to support the team.
• Maintain documentation and audit records related to master data activities.
• Participate in testing, process‑improvement projects and knowledge‑sharing activities.

Required profile

• Currently in the final two years of a university degree or holding a Bachelor’s in Engineering, Administration or Finance.
• Up to one year of experience in data analysis, business operations, shared services, customer service or administrative processes.
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to data quality.
• Intermediate to advanced proficiency in English.
• Ability to work in a process‑driven environment and follow documented procedures.

Required skills

• Microsoft Excel (advanced), including handling large data sets.
• Familiarity with ERP systems such as SAP (advantage).
