Legal & Compliance Analyst

About the role

PayJoy is seeking a Legal & Compliance Analyst to support the implementation and execution of compliance controls across its operations. You will work closely with internal teams to interpret local regulations, draft contracts, and address routine legal queries, ensuring the company meets its regulatory obligations while advancing its mission.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor and interpret local regulations to mitigate compliance risks.
• Prepare, review, and update contracts, agreements, and other legal documents.
• Respond to routine legal and compliance inquiries from internal stakeholders.
• Assist in designing, implementing, and monitoring compliance initiatives aligned with corporate policies.
• Identify potential legal and regulatory risks and propose mitigation solutions.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to ensure alignment on legal requirements for day‑to‑day activities and strategic projects.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Law.
• At least 1 year of internship experience in legal or compliance roles.
• Strong legal reasoning and analytical abilities.
• Proven ethical record and ability to work with objective metrics.
• Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
