Junior/Semi‑Senior Back‑End Python Engineer – Security & Safety Solutions

About the role

We are looking for a Junior to Semi‑Senior Back‑End Engineer with strong Python expertise to build and maintain secure, high‑performance services for our security and safety solutions platform. You will work remotely with a multicultural team, delivering RESTful APIs and collaborating across front‑end, DevOps and product groups.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, test and maintain scalable back‑end services and RESTful APIs using Python frameworks such as Django, Flask or FastAPI.
• Collaborate with front‑end developers, DevOps and other stakeholders to ensure seamless system integration and deployment.
• Optimize applications for performance, reliability and security, and troubleshoot existing services.
• Identify technical improvements, adopt best practices and stay current with emerging back‑end technologies.

Required profile

• 1–3 years of professional experience in Python back‑end development.
• Strong understanding of RESTful API design and best practices.
• Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases and ORM frameworks.
• Proactive problem‑solver with good communication and collaboration skills.
