IT Assistant – Product Adoption and Support

About the role

The IT Assistant – Product Adoption and Support will work within the Global Beneficiary Services team of the World Food Programme Technology Division. Reporting to the Head of GBS, the incumbent will help prepare, roll out and sustain corporate IT solutions that enable programme delivery across WFP operations worldwide.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in the preparation and deployment of new corporate IT tools and applications.
• Support user‑readiness activities, including training sessions and documentation.
• Provide Tier‑2 incident resolution and timely technical assistance to Country Offices.
• Ensure effective communication of updates, changes and best‑practice guidance.
• Collaborate with regional teams to deliver follow‑the‑sun support across time zones.

Required profile

• Under direct supervision of the Head of GBS.
• Demonstrated interest in IT support within an international, humanitarian environment.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
