Ingeniero DevOps Senior

About the role

We are looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer to join our financial services team in Panama City. The role focuses on automating, managing, and optimizing cloud and hybrid infrastructures, ensuring continuous delivery and high availability of micro‑services.

Key responsibilities

• Design, implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps, Jenkins or GitLab.
• Automate provisioning and configuration of resources across AWS and Azure with Terraform, CloudFormation and Ansible.
• Manage container orchestration with Kubernetes and Docker, supporting both on‑premise and multi‑cloud environments.
• Ensure security and identity management using Okta, OIDC, SSO and IAM policies.
• Monitor performance and availability of micro‑services, applying best‑practice operational tools.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to translate technical requirements into functional solutions.
• Lead and coordinate cross‑functional teams in a matrix organization.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of professional experience in DevOps or cloud engineering.
• Intermediate English proficiency.
• Residency in Panama City or surrounding areas and ability to work onsite.

• Kubernetes and Docker.
• AWS services (Lambda, ECS/EKS, VPC, IAM).
• Azure services (AKS, Azure Functions, Virtual Networks).
• Infrastructure as Code: Terraform, CloudFormation, Ansible.
• CI/CD tools: Azure DevOps, Jenkins, GitLab.
• Scripting: Python, Bash.
• Identity management: Okta, OIDC, SSO.
