High School Math & Physics Teacher

About the role

We are seeking enthusiastic High School Math and/or Physics teachers to join our bilingual campus in Panama City. The role is full‑time, on‑site, and focuses on delivering student‑centered, active‑learning experiences in a trilingual environment.

Key responsibilities

• Design and deliver engaging lessons that align with curriculum standards.
• Apply active‑learning methodologies such as inquiry‑based, project‑based, and collaborative learning.
• Promote literacy development, especially English language acquisition.
• Maintain a positive, inclusive classroom that supports academic, social, and emotional growth.
• Use assessment data to inform instruction and provide feedback to students and parents.
• Collaborate with colleagues, support staff, and administration to ensure cohesive educational experiences.
• Participate in ongoing professional development and school‑wide extracurricular activities.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Education or a related field.
• Fluency in English (spoken and written).
• Minimum two years of teaching experience at elementary or high‑school level.
• Strong understanding of literacy acquisition and developmental reading/writing stages.
• Knowledge of active‑learning strategies and inquiry‑based instruction.
• Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
• Passion for teaching and fostering lifelong learning.
• Familiarity with educational technology tools.
• Flexibility, creativity, and a growth‑oriented mindset.
