Fund Manager

About the role

CompanyCIFI, a Panama‑based investment platform focused on sustainable infrastructure in Latin America and the Caribbean, is looking for a Fund Manager to support its affiliate CIFI Asset Management Ltd. The role involves implementing, monitoring and overseeing the performance of assigned investment funds, ensuring disciplined capital deployment and strong portfolio results.

Key responsibilities

• Support the implementation and ongoing oversight of fund mandates in line with governing body decisions.
• Analyse portfolio opportunities, source investments and prepare recommendations through CIFI AM and CIFI credit and risk processes.
• Monitor loans and portfolio performance throughout the investment lifecycle, covering credit quality, investment limits, risk, impact and emerging issues.
• Coordinate portfolio setup, administration and liquidity planning with investment operations, the authorized AIFM, central administrator, custodians and other service providers.
• Prepare portfolio, performance, attribution and other reports for investment committees, investors and internal stakeholders.
• Provide technical expertise to limited partners, fund sponsors and other stakeholders in collaboration with Investor Relations.
• Maintain a strong understanding of fund governance, fiduciary duties, investment mandates and regulatory requirements.

Required profile

• Minimum 8‑10 years of relevant industry experience.
• Experience in infrastructure, energy or related sectors within Latin America and the Caribbean.
