About the role

Sagicor is looking for a Portfolio Administration Specialist who will manage collections, process payments and provide clear, timely service to clients, brokers and internal teams. The role combines disciplined cash handling with accurate record‑keeping and effective communication.

Key responsibilities

• Manage collection of the assigned portfolio through calls, emails, messaging and in‑person interactions.
• Receive, record and apply payments received via cash, bank transfers, ACH, credit cards and other methods.
• Issue receipts, invoices and account statements ensuring data accuracy.
• Perform daily cash reconciliation and maintain control of income documents.
• Follow up on pending payments, rejections and automatic charges (ACH/credit cards).
• Generate and send statements, as well as notifications of due dates, suspensions or cancellations.
• Respond to client, insured and broker inquiries related to payments and statements.
• Keep system information up‑to‑date and ensure proper documentation of transactions.
• Support income reconciliations and coordinate with accounting and external providers.
• Assist in the issuance and administration of new business.

Required profile

• High school diploma in Administration, Accounting or a related field (preferred).
• Minimum of 2 years experience in collections, cash handling, customer service or similar administrative functions.
• Experience in the insurance or financial sector is desirable.
• Basic knowledge of collection processes, cash handling and payment recording.
• Intermediate proficiency with Excel and familiarity with administrative/financial systems.
• Strong communication, organization and attention‑to‑detail.
