Elementary School Teacher

About the role

We are looking for a passionate and reflective Elementary School Teacher to join our Buenaventura campus. The position is full‑time and on‑site, working in a multi‑age, inquiry‑based classroom that follows the International Baccalaureate Primary Years Programme (PYP).

Key responsibilities

• Design and deliver engaging, developmentally appropriate learning experiences aligned with the IB PYP curriculum.
• Support students’ academic, social and emotional development through differentiated instruction.
• Assess student progress and adapt teaching strategies to meet diverse learning needs.
• Collaborate with colleagues in a small, highly collaborative school community.
• Participate actively in school events, professional development and initiatives that advance the school’s mission.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Education, Elementary Education or a related field.
• Experience teaching elementary‑aged students and creating engaging learning experiences.
• Strong understanding of inquiry‑based, student‑centered and concept‑driven learning approaches.
• Commitment to social‑emotional learning, student agency and a positive classroom culture.
• Ability to work effectively in a multicultural and multilingual environment.

Required skills

• Familiarity with the International Baccalaureate Primary Years Programme (PYP) or willingness to learn.
