Cybersecurity Architect – Zero Trust & GCP

About the role

Regional Services Group is looking for a seasoned Cybersecurity Architect to lead the security strategy across its business units. You will act as the bridge between Enterprise Architecture, Cloud, DevSecOps, and Risk teams, ensuring security is built‑in rather than added as an afterthought.

Key responsibilities

• Design and govern secure GCP architectures at a regional level, including Shared VPC, Hub‑and‑Spoke, VPC Service Controls and Organization Policies.
• Implement real‑world DevSecOps by integrating SAST, DAST, SCA and IaC analysis (Terraform, GitHub, SonarCloud) directly into CI/CD pipelines.
• Define and manage IAM/PAM strategies, providing privileged account traceability without hindering operations.
• Lead the Architecture Review Board (ARB) to establish security patterns and compensating controls for complex, multi‑business environments.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of IT experience, with 3‑4 years designing cybersecurity architecture for organizations of 5,000+ users.
• Hands‑on expertise with GCP, Zero Trust, OWASP, PAM and security frameworks such as NIST or ISO 27001.
• Relevant certifications (e.g., GCP Professional Cloud Security Engineer, CISSP, CrowdStrike, Terraform) are a plus.
