Customer Service Representative

About the role

Heathos is seeking a Customer Service Representative to join its Member Services team. The role involves handling inbound calls from members, providers, and agents, and providing timely, courteous support within a data‑driven healthcare insurance ecosystem.

Key responsibilities

• Answer incoming phone inquiries from members, providers, and agents.
• Pull and review information in the customer relations management (CRM) system.
• Escalate calls to appropriate partners according to standard procedures.
• Organize daily activities to align with organizational goals.
• Work to exceed published production, quality, and performance targets.
• Respond to customer‑submitted support requests as needed.
• Assist the supervisor with tasks related to customer support.
• Answer product‑related questions politely and promptly.
• Collaborate across multiple functional departments.
• Identify opportunities to improve customer support.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Prior phone customer service experience.
• Experience using CRM technologies to track interactions.
• Articulate with the ability to deliver engaging demonstrations.
• Deadline‑driven and willing to work additional hours.
• Sound technical knowledge.
• Ability to multitask effectively.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills and telephone etiquette.
• Ability to memorize product specifications.
• Capable of working independently and as part of a team.
• Strong growth mindset.
