Copper Pipe Mechanic

About the role

We are seeking a Copper Pipe Mechanic to install, assemble, fabricate, maintain, and repair mechanical piping systems for Nash Plumbing and Mechanical, LLC projects. The role involves following blueprints, specifications, and safety standards to ensure high‑quality installations.

Key responsibilities

• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and project specifications to determine piping system layouts, dimensions, and materials required.
• Cut, assemble, and join pipes, valves, and fittings using techniques such as brazing, soldering, and mechanical connections.
• Install pipe supports, hangers, and mechanical equipment according to project plans.
• Inspect, test, and troubleshoot installed systems to locate and repair leaks or deficiencies.
• Collaborate with other tradespeople and supervisors to ensure efficient project completion.
• Maintain a clean, organized work area and care for tools and equipment.
• Document work performed, including materials used and hours worked.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a mechanical pipe installer in industrial or commercial settings.
• Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting heavy objects, working in confined spaces, and at heights.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• OSHA 10 or 30 certification preferred.
• Strong problem‑solving skills and attention to detail.
