About the role

We are looking for a Technical Underwriting Coordinator who will directly influence the protection of people and the growth of our business. In this position you will lead the underwriting process, provide technical support to the sales team, and ensure accurate issuance of collective and individual health policies.

Key responsibilities

• Analyze risk and underwrite collective and individual health insurance policies, deciding on acceptance or decline.
• Provide technical assistance to the sales area during proposal and quote evaluation for new business.
• Supervise the creation, issuance, and movement of policyholders in the system.
• Prepare monthly production reports, statistics and cancellation data required by the regulator.
• Participate in product development and renewal committees, offering technical input on premiums and benefits.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or a related field (graduated).
• Preferably a technical qualification in insurance management.
• More than three years of experience in life and health insurance underwriting or related tasks.
• Knowledge of insurance law and proficiency with Microsoft Office; English is a plus.
