About the role

The Cost Control and Budget Officer will ensure accurate planning, monitoring, and control of construction project schedules and associated costs. The role focuses on meeting deadlines, staying within budget, and driving operational efficiency.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise physical and financial progress of construction works.
• Produce periodic consolidated reports on cost control, financial forecasts, and budget variances.
• Collaborate with operations and finance teams to maintain budget coherence and strategic alignment.
• Develop and update project progress schedules, integrating physical and financial data.
• Reconcile cost report balances with accounting records and present updated cash flow statements.

Required profile

• University degree in Industrial Engineering, Civil Engineering, or Business Administration.
• 3 to 5 years of experience in cost programming, control, and planning for projects, preferably in construction.
• Willingness to travel as needed.

Required skills

• Proficiency with planning tools and project management methodologies.
