About the role
We are seeking a qualified Accountant to oversee the financial operations of multiple companies or holdings within the Province of Panama. The successful candidate will ensure accurate accounting, compliance with tax regulations, and provide insightful financial analysis.
Key responsibilities
- Manage the full accounting cycle for several entities, including journal entries, reconciliations, and month‑end close.
- Prepare and review financial statements and reports for corporate management.
- Ensure compliance with Panamanian tax legislation, both general regime and free‑zone regulations.
- Coordinate with external auditors and tax authorities as needed.
- Utilize advanced Excel techniques to analyze financial data and support decision‑making.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting.
- Active CPA certification.
- Advanced proficiency in English.
- Minimum of three years of relevant accounting experience.
- Experience handling accounting for multiple societies or holdings.
- Familiarity with mass‑consumption industry practices is desirable.
Required skills
- Microsoft Excel (advanced)
