About the role

We are looking for an experienced International Buyer to lead the development and procurement of our Christmas collections. The role focuses on turning market trends and creative ideas into market‑ready products for our own brands, rather than sourcing raw materials or internal supplies.

Key responsibilities

• Research international Christmas, décor, home and retail trends to spot new product opportunities.
• Lead product development from concept to finished goods, providing detailed specifications to manufacturers.
• Source and evaluate new suppliers, primarily in Asia, and manage the full purchasing cycle.
• Request, assess and approve samples, prototypes and design modifications.
• Negotiate pricing, quantities, commercial terms and production timelines.
• Monitor costs, margins and commercial viability of each product.
• Participate in the creation and presentation of new Christmas collections.
• Analyze product performance and identify improvement opportunities.
• Attend international trade fairs and conduct buying trips, including travel to China.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in International Trade, Business Administration, Marketing, Design, Logistics, Industrial Engineering or related fields.
• 2–4 years of experience in international buying and/or product development.
• Background in categories such as Christmas, home décor, accessories, fashion, gifts or seasonal retail.
• Proven experience sourcing suppliers in China or other Asian markets.
• Willingness and ability to travel internationally, including mandatory trips to China.
• Hands‑on involvement in product development, not only purchasing.
