Comprador(a) Bilingüe – Temporal (Panamá Pacífico)

About the role

We are looking for a bilingual Buyer to join our Procurement team on a temporary basis, covering maternity leave. The role is based in Panama Pacific and offers the chance to work with both local and international teams, driving strategic sourcing initiatives that directly impact the company’s operational and financial performance.

Key responsibilities

• Execute purchasing and sourcing strategies that ensure quality, efficiency, and cost optimization.
• Manage supplier relationships to guarantee reliable and sustainable service levels.
• Support the rollout of sourcing projects aligned with current and future business needs.
• Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and promote continuous improvement actions.
• Coordinate purchasing and logistics activities, ensuring compliance with corporate policies and processes.
• Track purchase orders, deliveries, and supplier performance.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to develop value‑adding solutions.
• Participate in procurement improvement and transformation projects.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Logistics Engineering, Supply Chain, Business Administration, Industrial Engineering or a related field.
• 3–6 years of experience in Procurement, Purchasing, Supply Chain or similar functions.
• Proven experience in supplier management, order fulfillment, and performance analysis.
• Advanced to fluent English communication skills, both written and spoken.
