Commercial Sales Representative – Logistics & Freight

About the role

We are a $1.5 billion sales organization seeking a motivated and aggressive Commercial Sales Representative to join our logistics team. You will be responsible for generating new business and building long‑term relationships with customers in international freight forwarding and logistics.

Key responsibilities

• Prospect and develop new customers across international shipping and logistics.
• Identify companies with freight needs and build relationships with importers, exporters, manufacturers, distributors and retailers.
• Sell ocean, air, trucking, warehousing and logistics solutions.
• Follow up consistently, close new business and manage a growing customer base.
• Collaborate closely with operations to ensure excellent customer service.
• Achieve monthly sales and gross‑profit targets.

Required profile

• Proven B2B sales experience.
• Experience in freight forwarding, logistics, transportation or supply chain (preferred).
• Strong prospecting and cold‑calling abilities.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
• Self‑motivated, results‑oriented and comfortable working independently.
• Ability to develop relationships with decision‑makers at all organizational levels.
• Organized, persistent and able to manage a personal book of business.
• Existing customer relationships in logistics or international trade are a major plus.
