Assistant Manager Purchase to Pay (Finance)

About the role

As an Assistant Manager Purchase to Pay (PtP) Finance you will oversee invoice processing and payments for multiple entities, ensuring compliance with group standards and local statutory requirements. You will lead a multicultural team in a complex finance hub environment, driving efficiency and continuous improvement.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise supplier invoice processing and payment teams, ensuring adherence to company policies.
• Deliver agreed SLAs, KPIs and metrics while supporting the PtP Process Manager.
• Identify, design and implement internal process changes, streamlining hub and local operations.
• Build and maintain an efficient, professional team to guarantee on‑time delivery.
• Participate in cross‑functional projects and ensure compliance with local statutory requirements.
• Handle escalations and provide audit support for local, statutory and internal audits.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in accounting or finance roles.
• Proven experience leading multicultural teams in a complex environment.
• Strong workload distribution, follow‑up and time‑management skills.
• Advanced English and Spanish; Portuguese is a plus.
• Experience with VIM (Vendor Invoices Management) SAP system and the Purchase‑to‑Pay process.
• Ability to drive process simplification, resolve cross‑process issues and collaborate with global teams.
