About the role

The Purchasing Assistant will support the buying and development of clothing collections, ensuring smooth coordination between design, production and sales for both local and export markets. The role involves managing supplier relationships, handling administrative tasks and maintaining accurate records.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in developing clothing models by gathering market trends, ideas and international references.
• Coordinate procurement of fabrics, trims and accessories, ensuring correct selection and quality.
• Communicate with national and international suppliers, handling quotations, orders and delivery timelines.
• Maintain up‑to‑date Excel records of purchase orders, costs and budgets.
• Draft and respond to English‑language emails with suppliers and external clients.
• Support departmental administrative tasks, including documentation control and reporting.
• Collaborate with design and production teams to ensure accurate execution of collections.

Required profile

• Degree in Administration, International Trade, Fashion Design or related field.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in purchasing or apparel development (not haute couture).
• Knowledge of fashion, fabrics and textile materials.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks under tight deadlines with strong attention to detail.

Required skills

• Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
